We continue our study in the life of the “Heart” champion, King David. This week we come to this biggest messup of his life. It was a fall that lasted over a year and involved all kinds of stupid stuff. A little bit like some of us. The passage is 2 Samuel 11-12, and Doug shared important insight to help us deal with temptation in our lives. This was shared on August 30, 2009, at Wildwood Christian Church, as a part of the series, “David: Heart of a Champion.”

David continues to encourage and inspire. On August 23, we looked at three relationships that impacted David. God used three key relationships to help mold and develop David’s heart. 1 Samuel 18, 24, and 2 Samuel 9 contain the relationships that we looked at. This message was shared by Doug Vernon at Wildwood Christian Church.

Doug shares this message on August 9, 2009, as we begin a series, “David - Heart of a Champion.” The text for this message is found in 1 Samuel 16:1-13.
