James shares that God’s Word is a mirror, a reflection into our soul’s. Are you brave enough to look into God’s Word? Don’t just audit the Word or give it a quick glance; look deeply and allow God to transform your heart! Doug shared this message on May 31 2009 at Wildwood Christian Church. The text is James 1:21-27.

We need to spend time reading the bible. Not because we need more information, but we need the transformation that comes as a result of the power of God’s word! The is the second message in the series, Eat This Book. Why not take the challenge to read the bible every day … so that it is fresh! Doug shared this message on January 11 2009 at Wildwood Christian Church.

The Bible becoming part of us is crucial for living everyday life as a Christ follower. The Bible simply is a part of you that you cannot live without. Jesus life shows that that the thing to do with this book is… eat it. Take it in and let it become part of you, like food you gotta have to live. This message is by Doug Vernon that was preached on January 4, 2009 at Wildwood Christian Church

Questions about life and religion abound, but are there good answers? In this series, Doug tackles some of the key questions that people are asking about God. The title of the series is Why? and the journey is an important one. These are not simple questions, so the answers aren’t simple either.
Our fifth question is a tough one, “Why the conflict between science and the bible?” Doug gave this talk in March 2008, but we include it here to help us look at our own lives. Beware, you might struggle with the answers we come to in this message!

Our third question is a great one, “Why Should I Trust the Bible” Doug gave this talk in February 08, but we include it here to help us look at our own lives.
